Getting set for the parade

Freedom of the Town

At the end of April, the St. Andrew’s College Cadet Corps exercised their Freedom of the Town by leading a parade from the gates of St. Andrew's College down Yonge Street in Aurora to Our Lady of Grace Church. Once they hit their destination a private ceremony was held with special guest speaker Old Boy Andrew Flavelle. Following the service, Mayor Phyllis Morris re-affirmed the school's Freedom of the Town prior to the Cadets march back to the college with swords drawn and flags flown.
