Bourbon Street Ball

Southlake Regional Health Centre staff and supporters put on a festive and fashionable fundraising initiative in true Mardi Gras fashion. Hosted at The Mansion in Aurora, the gala became Bourbon Street with cuisine and culture right out of a New Orleans party.
CTV News' Anwar Knight played the role of emcee for the evening and helped explain the importance of the meaning behind the fundraiser for those new to the party. Through tickets, the raffle, silent auctions and additional support, the support of the guests helped financially strengthen Southlake's Regional Cancer Program. Jakob Gatt, who was treated for cancer by the hospital, was invited along with his family to the festivities and became not only a guest of honour, but crowned Prince of Mardi Gras. Congratulations on another successful year of fundraising! For more information on Southlake Regional Health Centre, please visit www.southlakeregional.org
