Mardi Gras for Southlake Launch

Everything must be just right for the Mardi Gras Carnival for Southlake! As this amazing event returns to York Region for its 13th year, the official Carnival Kings and Queens conducted their inspection of preparations for the big celebrations. Mardi Gras for Southlake has become one of the most spectacular fundraisers in York Region with a larger than life Bourbon Street Ball which will take place on February 9th preceded by a Casino Night and Poker Tournament to be held at The Mansion in Aurora on February 2nd. In addition to these events, the 2nd annual – “A Bite of the Big Easy”, a culinary celebration being hosted by several of the areas restaurants will feature New Orleans inspired dishes until February 12th – making Mardi Gras Carnival for Southlake 2013 bigger and better than ever!

All funds raised will go to the Pediatric Oncology Clinic at Southlake Regional Health Centre. For further information, please visit www.mardigrasforsouthlake.com
