Aurora's Borealis

The Town of Aurora is pleased to present Aurora’s very own Borealis to residents and visitors at Town Park! Coloured LED Christmas lights will illuminate Town Park trees every evening from 6 to 11 p.m. after the December 17th kickoff until Family Day, on Monday, February 18, 2013, allowing families to skate (weather permitting) one last time with the lights on.This initiative is presented by the Town of Aurora but has been generously sponsored by: Aurora Chamber of Commerce, Aurora Montessori School, Aurora Seniors’ Association, Canadian Tire, Crabby Joe's Aurora, Lifespring Physiotherapy Clinic, RONA, Rotary Club of Aurora, Terry Sherin from Royal LePage, and TD Canada Trust . By supporting this community event, each sponsor was able to help create Aurora’s Borealis by festively decorating one Town Park tree for the community to enjoy in the upcoming months.
