Celebration of Don Harrison

Mayor Geoff Dawe and guests celebrated the Diamond Jubilee Medal Recipient Don Harrison! Mr. Harrison was nominated by Mayor Geoff Dawe for his outstanding contributions to our community and his devotion to volunteering. The Diamond Jubilee medal was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the ascension of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to the trone as Queen. The medal is a way for Canada to honour Her Majesty for service to our country, and also honour significant contributions and achievements by Canadians. Congratulations Don Harrison!
