Santa Under the Stars

Santa Claus came to town, and with him came the first snowfall of the year! The Santa Under the Stars Parade rolled down Yonge Street between Orchard Height Blvd. and Murray Drive. It was a holiday festive evening to bring in the Christmas cheer, full of hundreds of volunteers and participants from various organizations, businesses and groups around the Aurora area. Hot chocolate, candy and popcorn were happily welcomed during the chilly evening but everyone marched with smiles on their faces. Mayor Geoff Dawe took part in an award ceremony for the best decorated float. And of course, Father Christmas himself finished off the parade, trailing down the road with his faithful reindeer. Merry Christmas, everyone!
