Aurora/Newmarket Home in Home Weekend
The Aurora Tigers didn't just come out to the Aurora Community Centre to face off against the Newmarket Redskins, but also to help show their charitable side through fundraising for autism awareness. For the seventh year, the Aurora Minor Hockey Association hosted a barbecue, pumpkin sale and other merchandise vendors with all the proceeds going to Kerry's Place Autism Services. It was a colourful event where kids and parents showed pride for their home teams while also getting a bite to eat and shopping for jewelry and hockey jerseys.
