Country Toy Tea
Originating in Montreal 18 years ago, the Toy Tea is a day annual fundraiser that brings toys to local children in need. The Toy Tea is now held in 9 Canadian cities! Now in their fifth year, the Country Toy Tea has collected and distributed over 5,000 toys and raised over $50,000 for local children in shelters. This year, the event was held in a lovely country home in King Township for local ladies to drop in and enjoy delicious food, tea/coffee, Christmas carols and a fashion show featuring the clothes of local merchants. Admission to this one day, all-women's event was free with a new, unwrapped toy or gift. Being a not-for-profit event, the success of the Country Toy Tea is dependent upon the generous support of its sponsors. The Country Toy Tea Committee would like to thank everyone for attending and making it another successful year!
