The Christmas Dream Kick-off Party
It was another successful year at Jonathan's Restaurant in Aurora as numerous people came out to support the Christmas Dream Wish. George St.Kitts along with his band provided the crowd with excellent entertainment - some Christmas songs as well as some classics! The feeling of community and sense of belonging is especially important to disadvantaged families, children and those who are alone. Often the best gift they might wish for is to feel part of a "traditional family" celebration meal on Christmas Day. With this objective in mind, the Aurora Christmas Dream has evolved in support of those people in our community. The Christmas Dream committee wish to provide a warm ray of sunshine and breathe new life into the Spirit of Christmas and thereby endow families with cheer and warmth here in the heart of Aurora. It was a very special evening to say the least and as I looked around the room, I really felt the Christmas cheer. Thank you to everyone who came out and of course, to the sponsors and the people who donated silent auction items.
