Golf for Change
The weather couldn't have been better for The Women’s Centre of York Region's first annual “Golf For Change” Ladies 9 Hole & Lunch Event on Thursday, September 24th! Everyone was invited to join the fun at Pheasant Run Golf Club for a relaxing day with good friends, delicious food, exciting challenges and lovely prizes - all for a great cause! The WCYR is a community-based, non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide women in need with the opportunities and tools to improve their lives. Thank you to everyone who came out and to the businesses that donated silent auction items!
