Queen's York Rangers, A Day in the Life Breakfast
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to serve in the Canadian Forces? It’s a question often asked but left unanswered.
The Queen's York Rangers chose to commemorate a “Day in the Life of a Soldier” as the focus of their fundraising initiatives by hosting a breakfast at Cardinal Golf Club. It was a great opportunity to hear first hand how the soldiers live as well as hearing from a soldiers mother. Soldiers of The Queen’s York Rangers have served on operations in Afghanistan, Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia, Somalia, Namibia, and Cyprus. Proceeds from the breakfast will go towards the Queen's York Rangers Regimental Assistance Program which offers support to their serving members. Join the Queens York Ranger's at the Aurora 150 Tattoo on May 5th at Machell Park from 11am to 4pm and at the Aurora Community Centre from 2pm to 4pm.
