CFUW Aurora/Newmarket

The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Aurora/Newmarket invited all men, women and students to hear Dr. Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux, Professor of Aboriginal Studies, University of Toronto, author and Georgina Island First Nation member, share her expertise on the topic, "Moving Beyond Historical Trauma to Reconciliation," at the Royal Canadian Legion. Members of the CFUW are a diverse, outgoing community of women committed to education, action and friendship. They are also committed to improving the lives of girls and women in Canada and abroad. CFUW has numerous interests groups such as photography, snowshoeing, bridge clubs, gourmet cooking, and golf - just to name a few! There are currently 10,000 members in 121 clubs across Canada and they are always excepting new faces.
